Stockton Extends Win Streak to Four Straight

Galloway, NJ – Stockton University (5-1-3, 2-0-0 NJAC) ran their winning streak to four straight matches with a 2-0 shutout over Ramapo College (3-2-2, 0-2-0) on Saturday afternoon. Erin Lally (Lumberton/Rancocas valley) and Megan Morris (Sicklerville/Bishop Eustace) scored the goals for Stockton. The four consecutive wins have all been by shutout.

The Ospreys took advantage early, outshooting the Roadrunners 8-1 in the first half. Lally made it pay off when her header hit the lower right corner for the 1-0 lead. Kylee Reissek (Newfield/Delsea) fired a volley off a corner kick that Lally converted for her second goal of the season at the 9:59 mark.

In the 32nd minute, Bella Bednarz (Keyport/Keyport) fired a free kick across the box, where Morris headed home her first marker of the season to make it 2-0, that would last until the break.
