Glassboro, N.J. - Stockton University (15-10, 12-6 NJAC) finished the regular season with a 70-60 setback at Rowan University (16-9, 12-6 NJAC) that snapped the Ospreys' five-game winning streak. Despite the outcome, Stockton will host an NJAC Tournament first round game on Saturday.

Grace Speer (Estell Manor/ACIT) shot 10-15 (67%) from the field and led the Ospreys with a game-high 23 points.
Bre Evans (Neptune/Neptune) also reached double figures with 11 points followed by
Imene Fathi (Wildwood/Wildwood) with nine markers.

Stockton fell behind 17-12 after one quarter but then surged ahead with a 24-17 second period that gave the Ospreys a slim 36-34 edge at halftime.
Zemirah Enalls (Barnegat/Barnegat) led the second-quarter charge with six points followed by
Madisyn McNair (Hackensack/Hackensack) with five.

Stockton fell victim to an 8-0 run by the Profs in the first four minutes of the third quarter, and the Ospreys never regained the lead. A basket by Speer pulled Stockton within 46-45, but Rowan answered with a bucket of their own for a 48-45 count after three.

Although Speer accounted for nine of Stockton's 15 fourth-quarter points, the Ospreys were unable to rally and they fell 70-60.

Megan Donelson paced Rowan with 17 points and 10 rebounds followed by Jess McLaughlin and Emily Poulas with 13 and 11 points respectively.

Stockton will host an NJAC Tournament first round game on Saturday evening. The opponent and start time will be announced when the NJAC Tournament bracket is revealed later tonight.
