Ospreys of the Week: March 16-22

Women's Rowing
The Osprey varsity eight won their afternoon race over Washington College and Bryn Mawr with a time of 7:21.28. In the morning V8 race, Stockton finished in 7:11.68, placing second behind Catholic (7:00.53) and ahead of Washington (7:18.13) .
The varsity eight was Maggie Dunn (Haddonfield/Haddon Twp.), Ixanna Torres (Atlantic City/Atlantic City), Olivia Wagner (Lafayette/High Point), Ashley Timm (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT), Giavonna Terruso-Emmons (Mays Landing/Cedar Creek), Sydney Rowand (Barrington/Haddon Hts.), Breanna Blisard (Galloway/Cedar Creek), Reese Weirick (Malvern, Pa./Great Valley) and coxswain Thalia Gonzalez (Moorestown/Moorestown).
 
Men's Lacrosse
Ben Blum (Mt. Laurel/Lenape) became the eighth goalie in Stockton history to reach 400 career saves. Blum tallied seven saves in both of his games last week.
 
Alex DeLierre (Bridgewater/Bridgewater-Raritan) was chosen Coastal Lacrosse Conference Offensive Player of the Week. DeLierre led Stockton with 10 goals in two games last week. DeLierre tied his career high with seven goals in a 19-5 victory over Messiah on Saturday.
 
Women's Golf
Elenora Bryne (Princeton Junction/West Windsor Plainsboro South) finished first out of 11 total golfers in the field at the Stockton Spring Invitational with a 92.
 
Ava Kinkler (Northfield/Mainland) placed third out of 11 golfers in the Stockton Spring Invitational with a career-best 100.
 
Women's Lacrosse
Brielle Soltys (Absecon/Holy Spirit) led the team with three goals, two assists, nine draw controls, seven ground balls and four caused turnovers versus Alvernia in Stockton's only game last week.
 
Maisy Mosier (Berlin/Eastern) scored three goals to go along with four draw controls, an assist, and ground ball in a 16-4 victory over Alvernia.
 
Softball
Elizabeth Martin (Port Republic/Cedar Creek) recorded eight strikeouts last week including a career high of five in a 16-0 shutout win versus Neumann. Martin went 2-0 with a 1.40 ERA in 10 innings pitched for the week.
 
Caitlin Cetrulo (Caldwell/James Caldwell) led the team with a .667 batting average, six hits and seven RBI last week. Cetrulo added three hits and scored two runs versus Neumann. 
 
Baseball
Jimmy Casey (Newtown, PA./Archbishop Wood) led the Ospreys with four runs and five hits last week. Casey's five hits came in an impressive showing during a double header against Penn State Harrisburg.
 
Max Kaplan (Wall/Wall) put on an impressive performance, recording three hits, three walks, one run, and three RBI, while batting .429 last week.
 
Women's Track and Field
Emma Petrolia (New Milford/New Milford) was chosen NJAC Track Athlete of the Week. This was Petrolia's ninth time receiving a weekly NJAC award. Petrolia won the 400m hurdles at the Stockton Invitational with a time of 1:04.20 that was sixth in NCAA Division III during the first weekend of the outdoor season.
 
Joie Buxton (Galloway/Absegami) was selected NJAC Field Athlete of the Week. In her first college meet, Buxton won the javelin in a field of 29 competitors with a distance of 40.42 meters that was good for third in the nation.
 
Men's Track and Field
Shane Daley (Galloway/Absegami), James Adams (South Plainfield), Landon Jenter (Voorhees/Eastern Regional) and Josh Barreiro (Vineland/Vineland) finished first out of 11 in 4x4000 relay at the Stockton Invitational with a time of (3:25.81) .
 
Shane Daley, Jacob Bittle (Sicklerville/Paul VI), Anthony McCullough (Hi-Nella/Sterling) and Dominic Currie (Fair Lawn/Fair Lawn) finished first out of eight in 4x100 relay at the Stockton Invitational (42.87 seconds) .
