Galloway, N.J. - Stockton University (15-1, 2-0 NJAC) began conference play with a sweep of William Paterson (6-9, 0-2 NJAC) by scores of 9-1 in six innings and 6-2.
Alexa Panagopoylos (Atco/Hammonton) rapped four hits and drove in four runs in the doubleheader.

Panagopoylos went 3-3 with a double, two RBI and a run in the first game.
Camryn Harry (Swedesboro/Paul VI) and
Emma Coldsnow (Yorktown, Va./Tabb) contributed two hits apiece, with Harry also notching a double and a run.

After William Paterson scored once in the top of the first, Stockton tied it on a sacrifice fly by
Caitlin Cetrulo (Caldwell/Caldwell) in the bottom half.

Cetrulo then slugged a three-run homer in the second inning to bring her total to four RBI. Panagopoylos knocked an RBI double that scored Harry for a 5-1 lead after two frames. The Ospreys tallied one run in the third inning and Panagopoylos singled home Cetrulo in the fourth.

Stockton scored twice in the sixth and walked off with the 9-1 victory.
Casey Sokol (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) pitched three scoreless innings out of the bullpen and struck out five for the win.

In the nightcap, Stockton pitcher
Lexi Liquori (Union/Union) retired the first 14 batters that she faced while the Ospreys built a 5-0 lead on just three hits, one of which was a two-run single by Panagopoylos in the fourth frame.

Evangelina Kim (Egg Harbor Twp./Atlantic Christian) singled, stole two bases and scored on a wild pitch in the fifth inning to make it 6-0, and Stockton completed the sweep 6-2. Liquori tossed a complete game, allowing two runs on three hits with a season-high six strikeouts.

Megan Tinger and Lilah Guthy had two hits apiece for William Paterson in the first game. Brandi Shortway went 1-4 with a stolen base and a run in the second game.

Stockton will host 10th-ranked Rowan University in an NJAC doubleheader on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.
