Colin Wagner (Birdsboro, Pa./Daniel Boone) was named Coastal Lacrosse Conference Offensive Player of the Week for his play in two victories by the Ospreys last week. Wagner received a CLC weekly award for the first time in his career.
Wagner tied for the team lead with eight goals and dished two assists for a team-high 10 points in the two wins. He also placed second on the squad with eight ground balls.
Wagner netted three goals in a 16-9 triumph over #19 Swarthmore and followed with five goals and two assists for a career-high seven points in a 27-5 rout of New Paltz.
For the season, Wagner ranks second in the CLC in goals per game (4.20) and fourth in points per game (5.20). The attack has recorded at least three points in each of Stockton's five straight victories to open the season.
Stockton will put their five-game winning streak on the line with two games this week. The Ospreys will host Elizabethtown College on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. and then travel to take on Ursinus College on Saturday at noon.
