Stockton Ends Regular Season with 19-7 Win over Kean

Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University (12-4, 2-2 CLC) won their last regular season game of the season with a 19-7 win over Kean University (7-9, 0-4 CLC), clinching third place in the CLC and finishing 10-0 at home this year.
 
Stockton quickly got on the mark with a goal by Alex DeLierre (Bridgewater/Bridgewater-Raritan) 38 seconds into the first period. Their offensive surge began with the Ospreys scoring seven in the first period, including a five-goal unanswered run in the last 5:43.
 
The Ospreys maintained the lead in the second period. With a combined six total goals, three apiece, the Ospreys went into half leading 10-4.
 
The third period saw a goalie change with Tyler Sininsky (Manahawkin/Southern Regional) going in for Ben Blum (Mt. Laurel/Lenape). Shortly into the third quarter, Josh Graham (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) scored his first goal of the game.
 
DeLierre netted two goals in period, bringing his total to five in of the game as Stockton went into the fourth quarter with a 13-5 advantage.
 
In the fourth, defender Chase Yesavage (Boyertown, Pa./Boyertown) scored his first career goal. Jack Vandegrift (Jenkintown, Pa./LaSalle College Prep) potted two markers and DeLierre scored another goal, the Ospreys' last goal of the game.
 
DeLierre led the game with six total goals, leading the Ospreys to a 19-7 win. The Ospreys saw 10 different goal scorers, with two hat tricks coming Jack Vandegrift and Colin Wagner (Birdsboro, Pa./Daniel Boone). On the defensive side, Sininsky (career-high eight saves) and Blum (four saves) shared 12 saves total.
 
The Cougars were led by Aarin Arbore's five goals and two assists for a game-high seven points. Jacob Dvoor scored twice for the Cougars.
 
Stockton will be the No. 3 seed for the Coastal Lacrosse Tournament and will play at No. 2 seed Salisbury on April 29 in the CLC Tournament semifinals.
