Glassboro, N.J. – Stockton University (11-6) led 18th-ranked Rowan University (14-3) for over 55 minutes before three goals by the Profs in the last 50 seconds eliminated the Ospreys from the NJAC Tournament with a heartbreaking 12-11 setback in the semifinal round.
Isabella Marinello (West Caldwell/Caldwell) tallied two goals and an assist, becoming the first player in program history to reach the 200-point mark for her career.
Aubrey Giordano (Mt. Olive/Mt. Olive) led Stockton with a team-high four goals.
Brielle Soltys (Absecon/Holy Spirit) scored three goals and amassed game highs of five ground balls and three caused turnovers plus a team-high four draw controls.
Madison MacGillivray (Forked River/Lacey Twp.) contributed two goals and an assist.
Rowan opened the scoring just over a minute into the game, but Stockton then held the Profs scoreless for the next 31 minutes while putting seven unanswered goals on the board for a 7-1 lead. Giordano, Soltys and Marinello each scored twice while MacGillivray potted one marker during the run.
The Profs finally found the net two minutes into the third quarter, but Giordano answered for an 8-2 advantage. Rowan reeled off four straight before Giordano halted the run to give Stockton a 9-6 cushion entering the fourth quarter.
MacGillivray made it 10-6 at the 11:18 mark, however the Profs closed the gap to 10-9 with 6:53 remaining. The teams then went scoreless for over five minutes before Soltys fired home her third goal of the game for an 11-9 edge with 1:44 on the clock.
Stockton still held an 11-10 lead after Rowan's Fiona Lockhart scored with 49 seconds left. Lockhart then netted the equalizer with 24 seconds to play and Rowan won the ensuing draw. Elaina Corson drew a foul and scored on a free-position shot with just 2.6 seconds remaining to stun the Ospreys 12-11.

Jordan Czaczkowski (Jackson/Jackson Memorial) made eight saves, including six in the first half to help the Ospreys build the big lead.
Maisy Mosier (Berlin/Eastern Regional) chipped in with three ground balls and two draw controls.
Lockhart paced Rowan with a game-high five goals followed by Alexis Lowry with four and Corson with two goals and two assists.
Stockton finished the season with 11 victories, reaching double figures for the fourth straight year under head coach
