Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University (1-4-4) and Penn State Abington (1-4-3) played a 1-1 draw on a windy night at G. Larry James Stadium. Both goals were scored in the second half.

Christian Pereira (Newark/St. Peter's Prep) scored his first career goal to tie the game for the Ospreys. Freshman goalkeeper
Cole Butler (Marlton/Cherokee) made three saves on the night.
With the wind at their back, the Lions launched a long throw-in into the box and took a 1-0 edge on a goal by Shane Lachawiec just 1:32 into the second half. In the 61st minute, Pereira fired a 25-yard free kick into the top right corner for the equalizer.
Stockton was on the attack throughout the second half, with eight shots and several forays into the box, but the game ended in a 1-1 tie.
Penn State Abington goalie Hector Ortiz made four saves in the match.
Stockton will continue its four-game homestand on Saturday when the Ospreys host 19th-ranked NYU at 1:00 p.m. The game will be Stockton's third against a ranked opponent in the first month of the season.
