Hackettstown, NJ – Stockton University (3-1-3) dominated play as the Ospreys ran by Centenary University (NJ) (0-6-0) by a 7-0 score on Wednesday afternoon. 10 different players registered points for Stockton, led by freshman
Ryleigh White (Horsham, PA/Hatboro-Horsham) who scored two goals with one assist for her first career points.
Stockton scored six times in the first 45 minutes in rapid order. White, with an assist from
Lyla Heath (Milburn/Milburn) for her first career point, started the onslaught at 4:20. Almost five minutes later,
Erica Vazquez (Kinnelon/Paramus Catholic), from White, made it 2-0. It was Vasquez' first career goal.
1:07 later,
Makayla Jaffe (Middletown/Middletown South) made it a three-goal margin. The Ospreys closed out the half, scoring three times in a four-minute span to make it 6-0 at the break. White tallied her second goal on a helper from Vasquez.
Katie Ambos (Cinnaminson/Cinnaminson) from
Mia Caruso (Brick/Brick Memorial), then
Adelyn Smith (Ringwood/Lakeland) from
Samantha Ambrose (Mullica Hill/Clearview) put the advantage at 6-0. It was the first career point for both Ambrose and Smith.
