Jason Leta is in the second year of his second stint as an assistant coach at Stockton. Leta previously was a Stockton assistant in 2013-14 and returned to the staff in Fall 2017. He possesses a wealth of coaching experience from the junior college and high school levels, a total of 12 years as a head or assistant coach in junior college and five years a high school head coach.
Leta won 64 games in three years as the head coach of Rowan College at Burlington County from 2015-17 and also was the head coach at Salem Community College for 15 months. He served as an assistant at Ocean County College for eight years from 2002-10. Leta had a five-year stint as the head coach at Pinelands Regional High School from 1998-2002 as well . He played on the college level at Ocean County College and Kean University for two years apiece and obtained his bachelor’s degree in special education from Kean in 1998.
