Tom Webber is entering his 13th season as an assistant coach for the Stockton baseball team. Webber has always served as the Ospreys’ pitching coach, and he has assumed added responsibilities in recruiting and running practices during his tenure.Â
Under Webber’s direction, Stockton finished fourth or higher in the NJAC in ERA six times in the seven years from 2008-14, including second in the league in 2010 and 2012.
Webber joined the Stockton staff in 2006 as a veteran coach with many years of experience at the high school level. He was the head coach at Brick Township for four years from 2002-05 and also spent over 20 years as a the program’s pitching coach.Â
Webber was named Ocean County Coach of the Year by the Newark Star-Ledger in 2004 after leading Brick Township to a county championship and two victories in the NJSIAA tournament.
