Joe Albano is in his fourth season on the Stockton coaching staff. Albano, a Stockton alumnus, joined the Stockton staff after two seasons as the head boys basketball coach at Woodbury High School. He also has experience at the high school level from two years as head coach at Gloucester County Institute of Technology.
Albano played in 70 games during his three seasons at Stockton after transferring from King’s College. He led the NJAC and set a school record that still stands by shooting 92.1 percent (70-76) from the free throw line in 2006-07. Albano also was a member of Stockton’s 2007-08 team that won the NJAC championship and reached the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.
