Richard Ziegler is in his third year on the Stockton women’s basketball staff. Ziegler possesses experience at the NCAA Division I and Division III levels. He had been an assistant coach for three seasons, one year apiece at three different schools before coming to Stockton. Ziegler was a volunteer assistant at Western Michigan during the 2014-15 season, in which the Mustangs went 20-13.
Ziegler then served as a graduate assistant at Michigan State, helping the Spartans to a 25-9 record in 2015-16, with a 13-5 mark in the Big 10 Conference. Ziegler spent last season as an assistant coach at Norwich University in Vermont.
A native of Wildwood Crest, N.J., Ziegler possesses a bachelor’s degree in Management of Sports Industries from the University of New Haven and is working toward his master’s degree in Kinesiology from Michigan State.
