Sasha Williams begins her second season on the coaching staff after a sterling four-year career as a player at Stockton. Williams was the first player in NJAC history ever to be named NJAC Defensive Player of the Year four consecutive seasons. She was named NJAC First Team three straight years (2016-18) and NJAC Honorable Mention as a freshman.
Williams was chosen All-America Honorable Mention by both the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association and D3hoops.com in 2018. She ranks second all-time in NCAA Divison III in blocks (547) and is one of only three Division III players ever to achive 500 or more blocks.Â
Williams is Stockton’s career leader in rebounds (1,212) and blocks (547) and stands fifth in school history in points (1,489). She is the only player, male or female, in Stockton history to ever record over 1,000 rebounds. Williams graduated from Stockton in 2018 with a degree in Criminal Justice.
