Last season, the Ospreys posted a 9-8 record, with the highlight of defeating Montclair State for the first time in program history.

Maurizi’s 2021 squad notched four victories during the COVID-shortened campaign. The season was highlighted by the program’s first ever victory over archrival Rowan. Stockton got off to a 4-0 start and outscored opponents by a combined 70-22 in 2020 before the remainder of the season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2019, Maurizi coached the Ospreys to an 9-7 overall record that featured by a five-game winning streak in the middle of the season.

The Ospreys went 11-7 in 2018 including wins over Marymount and Marywood at the Stockton Turf Field to capture the program’s first ECAC championship. Maurizi steered a 2017 team with just eight returnees to a 9-7 record in a season that featured a seven-game winning streak. Stockton qualified for the NJAC tournament with a 3-3 league mark and later hosted the ECAC tournament as the No. 1 seed.

In her first year as a college head coach, Maurizi led the Ospreys a 13-6 record in 2016 that is the highest win total in the program’s five-year history. Stockton also earned berths in the NJAC and ECAC tournaments for the first time and topped Lebanon Valley 9-6 in the ECAC semifinals for the squad’s first postseason victory ever. Maurizi was voted NJAC Coach of the Year for her efforts.

Maurizi, a native of Summit, N.J., was named Stockton head coach in September 2015. Prior to her arrival at Stockton, Maurizi was an assistant coach at Montclair State for three seasons from 2013-15. She helped Montclair State to a 40-13 record and one NCAA Tournament berth in her three years on the Red Hawks’ bench.

Maurizi served as head coach for one of the T3 Lacrosse club teams for several years beginning in 2011 and also spent one season as an assistant coach at The Pingry School and worked numerous camps. She played four seasons on the college level at Division I George Mason University (2007-10), appearing in 49 games and serving as a team captain for two years. Maurizi possesses a bachelor’s degree in English from George Mason.Â
