Mary Stornes is in her second year as an assistant coach at her alma mater. A Stockton graduate, Stornes was the starting goalkeeper for the Ospreys during the program’s first three intercollegiate seasons (2014-16).
Stornes was a two-time IWLCA All-Boardwalk Region selection, earning a First Team nod in 2016 and Second Team in 2015. She was voted NJAC Goaltender of the Year twice (2015-16) as well as being an NJAC First Team honoree in both of those years.Â
Stornes holds Stockton career records for with a 7.88 goals against average, .477 save percenatge and 307 saves. She also has the season records for goals against average (7.20 in 2016) and save percentage (.488 in 2016).
She earned her bachelor’s degree in Health Science from Stockton in 2016 and master’s in Speech Language Pathology from LIU Post in 2018.
