Greg Langan

Greg Langan is in his 25th year as an assistant coach at Stockton. Langan has helped the Ospreys win 589 matches and 12 NJAC championships during his tenure. His ability to coach all aspects of volleyball continues to be a major factor in the success of the Stockton program. 

Langan was an accomplished USVBA club player on the regional and national levels. In 2018, he competed in the US Open in Dallas, where his team captured the gold medal, finishing fifth in the world. Langan also competed in the 2018 Senior Olympics state championships in Maryland and Pennsylvania, earning gold medals in both.

In 2013, Langan competed in the U.S. Open National Championships in Louisville where his team defeated Canada in the bronze medal game and overcame a tough Venezuela team to capture the silver medal. In 2010, Langan competed at the U.S. Open in Phoenix and Huntsman World Senior Games in St. George, Utah, where his squad captured a bronze medal. 

Langan served on the volleyball security team for the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. He is retired after a 28-year career with the New Jersey State Park Police, where he reached the rank of lieutenant. Langan lives with his wife Sandy in Millville, N.J. and has two daughters, Emily (Stockton class of 2005) and Becky.
