Jared Lewis is in his third year as a member of the Stockton track & field coaching staff in the jumps. Lewis, a Stockton alumnus, possesses coaching experience from a pair of colleges. He served as an assistant track & field/cross country coach at Arcadia University for two years. Lewis also spent time as a graduate assistant at Division II California University (Pa.).

Lewis is the most decorated student-athlete in Stockton history. He earned a total of nine All-American honors in the triple jump and long jump as an Osprey. His distinguished career was highlighted by his winning the NCAA national championship in the indoor triple jump twice (2017-18).

Lewis qualified for the NCAA Championships in all eight of his seasons (four indoor, four outdoor) and was the NCAA runner-up twice in addition to his two national titles. He was chosen NJAC Male Athlete of the Year in 2016 and earned two NJAC Most Outstanding Male Athlete and three NJAC Outstanding Male Field Athlete awards as well as 10 USTFCCCA All-Region honors (six triple jump, four long jump).

Lewis earned his bachelor’s degree in hospitality & tourism management from Stockton University and master’s degree in sports management from California University (Pa.).
