Last year, Hering guided the Ospreys to a 26-15 record for the program’s highest win total since 2017. Stockton earned the No. 4 seed in the NJAC tournament for the third straight year. Hering reached the 200-win mark with an 8-0 shutout of Rutgers-Camden on April 15, 2025. She led the 2024 squad to a 24-17 mark in 2024, winning at least 24 games for the fifth time in her first seven full seasons (excluding 2020-21-COVID).
Hering guided Stockton to a 19-19 record while facing the third-toughest schedule in NCAA Division III in 2023. The Ospreys went 24-18 in 2022, with nine of the victories coming in NJAC play. Hering led Stockton to 10 wins in the COVID-shortened 2021 season, with the Ospreys entering the NJAC Tournament as the No. 6 seed and sweeping No. 3 seed Montclair State to advance to the semifinals. Due to COVID-19, the 2020 campaign was abbreviated to just one doubleheader.
In 2019, Hering led Stockton to a 22-20 overall record with eight wins in the NJAC. She reached the 100-win milestone with a 7-4 victory over Rutgers Camden on April 16, 2019. Hering’s 2018 team went 24-17 and won its NJAC playoff opener. Hering coached her 2017 squad to a 26-21-1 record while playing 22 games against NCAA Tournament qualifiers. The Ospreys finished as the NJAC tournament runner-up for just the second time in school history and also were the ECAC tourney runner-up.Â
In 2016, Hering’s first season as a college head coach, she helmed Stockton to a 32-13 mark that was just one win shy of the school record for victories and was voted NJAC Coach of the Year. Stockton entered the NCAA regional rankings for the first time ever, reaching as high as fourth in the East Region. The team finished second in the NJAC standings, its highest finish ever, and nearly earned an at-large berth into the NCAA Tournament.Â
Hering was named Stockton head coach in September 2015 after spending one year as a volunteer assistant at Rowan. She helped the 2015 Profs to a 38-8 record, first place in the NJAC regular season standings and an NCAA Tournament berth. Rowan was the runner-up in the NCAA regional and NJAC tournament that year as well.Â
 Â
Prior to her stint at Rowan, Hering was the head coach at Camden Catholic High School for seven years, compiling a 102-44 record and winning six consecutive Olympic National Conference championships. Hering also brings coaching experience from the E.C. Mavericks, Marlton Thunder and Newtown Rock Gold travel teams.Â
