Rodger Gottlieb took a step back into the assistant coach role in July 2025 after six years as the first head women’s golf coach at Stockton. Gottlieb was hired in August 2018 and led the Stockton program from its inception through one year as a club sport followed by six years on the intercollegiate level.
Gottlieb is a lifelong student of the game with considerable expertise pertaining to the fundamentals of the golf swing, training and conditioning for golf and the mental aspects of competing. Under Gottlieb’s direction, Stockton competed in seven events last year after playing nine tournaments in 2023-24 and 10 apiece in each of the previous two seasons. In 2019-20, Stockton competed in five tournaments during its inaugural season as an intercollegiate sport before the campaign was shortened due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Ospreys returned to action under Gottlieb’s tutelage for three events in April 2021.
