Nick Avagnano (Paramus/Paramus) got off to a hot start, hitting a team-high .545 and leading the team in hits (6), runs (4), RBI (5) and total bases (11) in the first three games of the season. The sophomore blasted his second career home run in the season opener against Western New England.
