(Danville, VA) - Richard Stockton (8-7-2) made the long trip south to Virginia and blanked Averett University (8-5-2) 3-0 for its third consecutive shutout victory.
Chris Katona (Howell/Howell) scored twice for the Ospreys and freshman
Anthony Maruca (Galloway/Absegami) netted his first career goal in a Stockton uniform.

Dominic Nocito (Delran/Delran) 22:52 into the match. Just 4:23 later, Katona beat Averett goalkeeper Justin Duksis one-on-one after receiving a pass from
Anthony Procopio (Vineland/Sacred Heart) for a 2-0 Stockton lead, which the Ospreys took into the halftime break.

Clevon McPherson (PembertonPemberton) at the 68:59 mark and Stockton cruised to the 3-0 victory. Katona scored two goals for the third consecutive game, a span during which the Ospreys have outscored their opponents 16-0.
Stockton goalkeeper
Bob Millar (Green Ridge/Allentown) earned his fourth solo shutout of the season with five saves. Millar became the third different Stockton goalie to post a shutout this week as the Ospreys extended their streak to 300 minutes since they last allowed a goal.
