Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University men's soccer teammates
Uche Wokocha (Galloway/St. Augustine Prep) and
Ernst Louisius (Asbury Park/Neptune) were chosen All-Region IV First Team by the
United Soccer Coaches. Louisius collected an all-region honor for the second straight year while Wokocha received his first all-region accolade.
Wokocha and Louisius led Stockton to a 10-5-5 record and a tie for first place in the NJAC standings this fall. Wokocha became the first Osprey ever to be voted NJAC Midfielder of the Year. He and Louisius were selected NJAC First Team as well.
Wokocha was one of just three Ospreys who started all 20 games this season. The senior produced career highs with five goals and four assists for 14 points in addition to contributing strong all-around play from his midfield position.
Wokocha tied for second on the team in goals and finished third on the squad in assists and points. He compiled 10 points during a four-game point streak from October 1-11. Wokocha rarely came off the field, playing 1,675 of a possible 1,800 minutes this year.
Louisius moved up to the First Team after a United Soccer Coaches All-Region IV Second Team nod in 2024. The junior led Stockton in scoring with 10 goals and 21 points while playing 18 games including 16 starts. Louisius finished fourth in the NJAC in goals and tied for fifth in points.
Louisius scored at least one point in 10 of his 18 games played, highlighted by nine points (4 G, 1 A) during an early five-game point streak from September 8-20. He reached double figures in goals for the first time in his three seasons at Stockton.
