(Radnor, PA) – Richard Stockton (5-1) swept all three doubles matches and won five out of six in singles to post an 8-1 victory over Cabrini (2-3) in a contest that was scheduled for yesterday but pushed back 24 hours due to inclement weather.
Sydni Fahringer (Northfield/Mainland) led a quartet of Ospreys who won their matches in both singles and doubles.
Fahringer teamed with
Kristy Faren (Oakland/Indian Hills) for an 8-3 victory in doubles and then posted a 6-4, 6-0 singles victory while Faren won her singles contest 8-1 with darkness descending.
Laura Church (Wall/Ranney School) and
Krystle Bendijo (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) rolled 8-2 in doubles and Church followed with a 6-2, 6-1 triumph in singles.
Sam Koropchak (West Milford/West Milford) and
Gianna Letinski (Barnegat/Barnegat) teamed for an 8-4 win in doubles and Koropchak later prevailed 6-2, 6-1 in singles. With the team outcome already decided,
Scout Bauer (Haddon Twp./Haddon Twp.) won a shortened singles match 8-6 as the Ospreys improved to 5-1 on the season with their second straight win.
Stockton will compete in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Northeast Regionals at William Smith College in Geneva, NY on September 21-23.
