(Galloway, NJ) -   Richard Stockton (1-2-1) played through heavy rain during the two overtimes and battled #10 Babson College (4-0-1) to a 0-0 tie. The Ospreys outshot the Beavers 13-9 with five of those being shots on goal. Stockton goalkeeper Bob Millar (Green Ridge/Allentown) made two saves and Babson's Stephen Donato (Morganville/Christian Brothers Academy) kicked out five shots as both goalies earned a shutout.

Chris Katona (Howell/Howell) registered a match-high five shots for Stockton, including three on goal. Both teams had one great scoring opportunity in the second half, with Babson getting the first one. With 22 minutes left in regulation, a Babson player headed a ball off of a corner kick that was cleared away from the goal line by an Osprey defender.

Stockton had their opportunity just four minutes later as the Ospreys scored on a header off a scramble in front of the net, but the goal was disallowed due to an offsides call (video). Neither team could muster a good opportunity during the two extra frames that were played in a heavy downpour after nearly 90 minutes of dry conditions during regulation.

Stockton opens their NJAC schedule as they travel to Kean on Wednesday afternoon for a 4 pm start. Babson also opens their conference schedule as they will return home to face MIT next Saturday at 1 pm.
