(Galloway, NJ) – No. 2 seed Richard Stockton (13-6-2) scored three goals in the first 20 minutes and coasted to a 4-2 victory over No. 7 Brooklyn College (10-7-2) in an ECAC Metro quarterfinal round game.
Anthony Colofranson (Woodbury Hts./Gateway) led the Ospreys with two goals and an assist. With the win, Stockton advanced to play No. 3 seed FDU-Florham in the ECAC semifinals on Saturday.

Colofranson opened the scoring 11:33 into the match and freshman back
Jeff Tanski (Sicklerville/Timber Creek) earned his first career point with the crossing pass for an assist. Just over five minutes later, sophomore
Mike DeFeo (Sicklerville/Timber Creek) netted his first goal in a Stockton uniform by converting a feed from Colofranson for a 2-0 lead.

Just 2:40 after that, Colofranson received a pass from
Brandon Schidner (Cumberland/Cumberland) and chipped a shot past the goalie for his second marker of the night and a 3-0 advantage that lasted until the second half.

 In the second half, two more Stockton bench players combined for firsts as sophomore
Jeff Morgan (Erial/Timber Creek) scored his first career goal and freshman
Nick Auleta (Hammonton/Hammonton) assisted on the play for his first career point. Brooklyn got on the board late with goals by Oleg Tykhonravov and Taras Frankivskyy in the last eight minutes for the 4-2 final score.

Tim Brett (Palmyra/Palmyra) made his second start of the season and earned the win with five saves. Brooklyn goalie Kamil Ostrowski registered nine stops for the Bulldogs.

The rest of the ECAC Metro tournament will be held at FDU-Florham, whom the Ospreys will face on Saturday in the semifinal round (time TBA). The ECAC championship game is slated for Sunday (time TBA).
