(Hilton Head, SC) – Richard Stockton (11-3) cruised to a 7-0 victory over Alfred University (NY) and evened its spring break record at 2-2. The Ospreys won all seven matches that were completed and two singles duels were not finished.
Krystle Bendijo (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) captured the only match to go beyond two sets by rallying for a 1-6, 7-5, 10-3 triumph in a super-tiebreaker at No. 1 singles.
Sam Koropchak (West Milford/West Milford) prevailed 6-0, 6-2 at No. 2 singles and
Sydni Fahringer (Northfield/Mainland) posted a 6-3, 6-3 win at No. 3 singles.
Laura Church (Wall/Ranney School) breezed to a 6-2, 6-3 victory at No. 4 singles and the other two singles matches were not completed.
The duos of Bendijo and Church and Koropchak and
Scout Bauer (Haddon Twp./Haddon Twp.) won by identical 8-6 scores at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles respectively. Fahringer and
Kristy Faren (Oakland/Indian Hills) paired up for an 8-2 rout at No. 2 doubles.
Stockton will play its final match in Hilton Head tomorrow at 8 am when the Ospreys take on Greenville College (IL).
