BoxscoreGalloway, NJ – Richard Stockton (5-7, 2-2 NJAC) fell victim to a three-goal barrage by Rowan University (9-3. 3-0) in the first eight minutes of the game and could not recover, suffering a 4-0 defeat. Stockton's offensive woes continued as the Ospreys were shut out for the second time in four games. Stockton has scored just two goals during its current four-game skid.

Sara Winters (Blackwood/Triton) came off the bench to play the last 61:51 and make six saves while allowing just one goal.
Cassie Kirk (Middletown/Middletown South) made her league-leading seventh defensive save for the Ospreys as well.

Rowan's Johanna James scored 2:22 into the game and again less than four minutes later to put Stockton in an early 2-0 hole. Sam Browne completed the quick three-goal onslaught with her first marker of the match two minutes later. Browne added her second tally of the day at 24:42 and Stockton trailed 4-0 at the break.

The Ospreys totaled four shots in the first half and managed just one in the second half as Rowan was content to protect its sizeable lead in the second stanza. Overall, Profs goalkeeper Carly DeMarco stopped all three shots on goal by Stockton to keep the Ospreys off the board and post her third shutout of the season.

Stockton will conclude a three-game homestand by hosting Keystone College in a non-conference game on Tuesday at 7 pm.
