BoxscoreGalloway, NJ – Richard Stockton (6-7) snapped a four-game losing streak in a big way as they took measure of Keystone College (3-12) with an 8-0 shutout on Tuesday night. The Ospreys dominated the game, outshooting the Giants 18-4 with a 16-4 advantage in penalty corners. Six different Ospreys scored goals, led by
Samantha Barcia (Berlin/Eastern) with a three-goal hat trick.

Barcia got the Ospreys off and running just 3:04 into the contest when she tapped in a pass from
Averi Olive (Sea Isle City/Hammonton) for a quick 1-0 lead. Barcia struck again later in the first half, scoring again on a tap-in, this time from
Leah Davies (Ocean City/Ocean City) for the 2-0 advantage.
Laura Olbrich (Pittsgrove/A.P. Schalick) got into the act at the 20:39 mark for the third Osprey goal. Olbrich's tap-in on a pass from
Grace Kinney (Brigantine/GCIT) made it 3-0. Five minutes later,
Elisha Hartman (Little Egg Harbor/Pinelands) finished off a four-goal half with a shot from the right side that found the net. Barcia picked up the helper and the rout was on.

Just 4:32 into the second stanza, Barcia finished her big night when she scored off her own rebound.
Colleen Knight (Pennsauken/Camden Catholic) blasted a shot with an assist from Olive for a 6-0 lead just 1:43 later. Freshmen
Emily McNeill (Blackwood/Paul VI), on an unassisted wrist shot, and
Sarah Gawrysiak (Haddon Twp./Haddon Twp.) both tallied their first career goals to set the final at 8-0.
Lindsey Treptow (Bordentown/Bordentown) assisted on Gawrysiak's blast.

Liz Stankiewicz (Freehold Twp./Freehold Twp.) played the first 41:19 in net for Stockton, making one save and earning her sixth win of the season.
Sara Winters (Blackwood/Triton) finished up in relief, kicking out two shots to preserve the combined shutout. Emily Hawkins, who took the loss, and Amy Denmon split time in the net for Keystone, making two saves each. Â

Stockton will travel for their next game to NJAC foe Montclair State, ranked #11 nationally. Game time is scheduled for Saturday at 12 pm.
