BoxscoreGalloway, NJ – Taking advantage of a five-game homestand, Richard Stockton (11-7, 6-2 NJAC) won their fourth straight game at G. Larry James Stadium with a 4-1 victory over Franklin and Marshall (1-13) on Wednesday night.
Adrianna Boucher (Hamilton/Steinert) led the way with a goal and assist for Stockton. The Ospreys battled the Diplomats and Mother Nature as the game was played in a steady downpour all evening.
Â
Stockton scored four consecutive goals, two in each half, beginning with
Melissa Trafton (Mantua/Clearview) tallying her third marker in the past two games. Boucher sent a crossing pass to Trafton who headed home the goal for a 1-0 Osprey lead.
Marissa Bruno potted the second goal of the first half with a free kick from 40 yards out for a 2-0 Stockton margin going into the half.
Â
Boucher picked up her third goal of the year 10 minutes into the second stanza on a header from
Chelsea James (Howell/Howell) to put the Ospreys up 3-0.
Allison Reber (Brick/Brick Memorial) picked up her first career goal to end the Osprey scoring. Reber placed a shot to the lower right corner when she took a pass from
Alexa Rubino (Voorhees/Eastern) at 76:11 for the 4-0 advantage. Stockton was not able to post the shutout as the Diplomats' Kyra Judge spoiled the attempt when she nailed her own rebound off the crossbar with just 3:05 remaining for the 4-1 final score.

Stockton goalkeeper
Lauren Haynes (Williamstown/Williamstown) earned the victory, making one save in picking up her 11th win of the season. Caroline Letner took the loss, making one save for the Diplomats in the first 45 minutes of play. Shannon Johnson-Finn played the second half without making any stops.
