Boxscore

Camden, NJ – Two second half goals propelled Richard Stockton (13-7, 7-2 NJAC) to its sixth straight win with a 2-0 shutout over Rutgers-Camden (6-11-1, 2-7) on Wednesday night. Lauren Haynes (Williamstown/Williamstown) earned her sixth shutout of the season for the Ospreys.

After a scoreless first half, Stockton broke through for the first marker of the game. Lexi Stasi (Cranbury/Princeton) scored off her own rebound for the 1-0 Osprey lead at 51:22. With just 3:30 remaining, Alexa Rubino (Voorhees/Eastern) scored her first goal of the season from the far post to give the Ospreys the insurance tally that sealed the game after Adrianna Boucher (Hamilton/Steinert) sent her a crossing pass.

Haynes earned her 13th victory of the season by making six saves. Angela Martorano kicked out nine Stockton attempts for Rutgers-Camden while her team contributed two more saves for the game.

Stockton, who earned the No. 3 seed, will begin the NJAC playoffs on Saturday at home when they will face sixth-seeded Rutgers-Newark in a first-round game at 2 pm.
