BoxscoreWayne, NJ – Richard Stockton (7-6, 3-2 NJAC) scored twice in the second half to snap a scoreless tie and defeat William Paterson (3-5-3, 1-3) 2-0 in an NJAC road game that was pushed back a day due to rain.
Rachel Copare (Pittsgrove/A.P. Schalick) and
Keara Homan (Manasquan/Manasquan) struck for goals seven minutes apart.
Â
William Paterson outshot the Ospreys 6-4 but neither team could get the ball across the goal line during a scoreless first half. The game remained 0-0 for the nearly 22 minutes into the second half before Copare potted her second goal of the season to put Stockton on the board at 66:57.
