BoxscoreCamden, NJ - No. 3 seed Richard Stockton (13-5-5) scored two goals in the last 17 minutes to advance to the ECAC Metro championship with a 2-1 win over No. 2 seed Drew University (10-6-6) on Saturday afternoon.
Tim Sost (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) netted the game-winner with 2:33 left for the victory. Stockton is the defending ECAC Metro champion.

The Rangers broke the scoreless tie at 36:20 of the first half when Michael Pezzuti tallied his third goal of the year for the 1-0 lead. His unassisted goal came on a restart just outside the box and Drew took the advantage into the locker room.

The Ospreys were able to tie the contest at the 73:08 mark when
Jared Ruff (Delran/Delran) headed a shot in off the right post for the 1-1 tie.
Chimaobi Ikwuagwu (Camden, DE/Caesar Rodney) gave Ruff the crossing pass, which he buried for the goal. Sost then was sent in on a pass from Ruff just over 14 minutes later and slid the game-winner, his sixth of the season, in at the right post for the 2-1 lead that Stockton would not relinquish.

Bobby Varga (Toms River/Toms River East) picked the win, making eight saves. Michael Reyes kicked out six shots for the Rangers, with the team helping out with one save in the loss.

Stockton will face No. 1 seed Rutgers-Camden in the ECAC Metro finals, at Rutgers-Camden, tomorrow. Game time is scheduled for 12 pm.
