BoxscoreDallas, PA – Richard Stockton (4-0) remained unbeaten with a 73-49 victory over Stevens (1-2) in the first game of the McCarthy Tire Laurel Line Tournament at Misericordia University. Turnovers proved to be the key to the game as Stockton forced 22 miscues by the Ducks and turned them into 23 points while committing just six turnovers on offense.
Armin Cane (Pleasantville/Pleasantville) reached the 25-point mark for the third time in four games, finishing with 27 markers plus a game-high four steals.

Myles Reuben (Edison/J.P. Stevens) also reached double figures with 14 points while guard
Nate Pacius (Neptune/Academy Charter) topped the Ospreys with five rebounds and four assists.
Marcus Harmon (Whitesboro/Middle Twp.) came off the bench to contribute eight points.

After exchanging points for the first 11 minutes, the teams endured a four-minute scoreless drought before Stockton took the game over by closing the first half with a 16-3 run that included the last nine points of the period. Cane hit three three-pointers and Reuben netted five points during the outburst. The Ospreys led 37-24 at the break, with Cane (18 points) and Reuben (11 points) leading the way.

Stockton added to its lead by outscoring Stevens 14-4 over an eight-minute span early in the second half to open up a 51-30 advantage. Cane scored the Ospreys' first seven points of the half and Harmon added five during the spurt. Pacius later hit a jumper at the five-minute mark that gave Stockton its largest lead of the night at 66-38 and the Ospreys cruised the rest of the way to win 73-49.
