BoxscoreGwynedd Valley, PA – Richard Stockton (5-2) took the lead early and stayed in front to defeat Gwynedd Mercy (3-4) 58-49 for the Ospreys' fourth consecutive win. Stockton was led by two players with double-doubles.
Lauren Alwan (Cherry Hill/Timber Creek) finished with a game-high 16 points plus 10 rebounds, four assists and four steals.

Sara Farrell (Marlton/Cherokee) missed just two shots as she went 4-6 from the floor, including 2-2 from three-point range, and 4-4 at the line for 14 points. Farrell also tallied 10 boards, three assists, three steals and two blocks in another strong outing. Freshman
Sasha Williams (Cherry Hill/CH West) nearly added a double-double of her own as she notched 11 points, nine blocks and seven rebounds. Stockton committed 26 turnovers but Gwynedd Mercy shot just 25.7 percent (18-70) in the game.

After five points by Farrell and four by Alwan,
Taylor Christina (Franklinville/Delsea) sank back-to-back three-pointers to give the Ospreys a 19-2 lead in the first 11 minutes as the Griffins were hampered by shooting woes. Gwynedd Mercy later closed the gap to seven but Farrell answered with five straight points to help Stockton to a 26-14 advantage at the half. Farrell scored 10 points and the Griffins went a frigid 5-36 (13.9%) from the field before the break.

The second half belonged to Alwan and Williams with 12 and nine points respectively. Williams netted Stockton's first five points of the stanza to extend the lead to 31-16 and the Ospreys led by double digits for most of the half. Gwynedd Mercy did get within seven with 5:56 on the clock and again in the final minute before the Ospreys went 5-6 at the line to close out their fourth straight victory, 58-49.
