(Madison, NJ) – Richard Stockton (2-1) picked up their second consecutive victory with a 13-8 decision on the road over FDU-Florham (1-2) on Saturday afternoon.
Vincent Manasia (Clark/Arthur L. Johnson),
Nick Bologno (Glen Gardner/North Hunterdon) and
Vinny Gencarelli (Rockaway/Morris Hills) accounted for 10 of the 13 Osprey tallies on the day. Manasia led the way with four markers while Bologno and Gencarelli added three apiece.

Stockton took control early as they netted four goals during the first quarter. Bologno tallied twice while
Cal Sebor (Freehold/Freehold Twp.) and
Drew Wright (Wallingford, PA/Strath Haven) added one goal each for a 4-2 lead after one period.
Tyler Van Benschoten (Saddle Brook/St. Joseph Regional) assisted on Bologno's first score.

Stockton kept up the pressure in the second stanza as they potted five goals to just one for the Devils. Gencarelli scored all three of his markers with Manasia adding his first one in a span of 5:10. Bologno assisted on three of the scores. After FDU-Florham picked up a goal to make it 8-3, Manasia again hit the back of the net, from Van Benschoten, to give Stockton a 9-3 advantage at the break.

Things got a little tighter in the third and into the fourth period. After Manasia scored his third marker, again from Bologno, to make it 10-3, the Devils netted five unanswered goals to pull within 10-8 with 9:11 remaining in the game. The Ospreys gathered themselves and ended the scoring with three unassisted goals, one each by Manasia, Bologno and Wright, to set the 13-8 final score.
Bologno dished four assists to go with his three goals, with Van Benschoten assisting on two others for his first multiple-point game in a Stockton uniform.

Freshman goalkeeper
Eric Leonard (Mt. Laurel/Lenape) made 10 saves in earning his second win of the year for Stockton, and lowered his goals against average to 8.20 in his rookie campaign. George Beck took the loss for the Devils kicking out 13 Osprey attempts
