(Allentown, PA) – Richard Stockton (5-2) outscored Muhlenberg (1-5) 4-2 in the fourth quarter to record an 11-9 victory in a tight game that featured six ties and no margin larger than two goals at any point during the match. Nick Bologno (Glen Gardner/North Hunterdon) led the Ospreys with five goals and one assist for six points. Bologno also became the eighth player in Stockton history to crack the 100-goal mark.

Drew Wright (Wallingford, PA/Strath Haven) tallied two goals and an assist while Tyler Van Benschoten (Saddle Brook/St. Joseph) tossed in two goals. Freshman goalkeeper Eric Leonard (Mt. Laurel/Lenape) earned the win with a career-high 15 saves and Erik Beck (Marlton/Cherokee) scooped a team-high seven ground balls for the Ospreys.

Wright and Bologno scored unassisted markers in the first 2:34 to give Stockton an early 2-0 lead but Muhlenberg outscored the Ospreys 4-1 in the last 8:26 of the period to pull ahead 4-3. Stockton regained the lead on goals by James O'Donnell (Mt. Laurel/Lenape) and Max Becker (Oak Ridge/Jefferson) before the Mules scored with 18 seconds left in the first half for a 5-5 tie at intermission.

After Bologno and Wright opened the second-half scoring to put Stockton on top 7-5, Muhlenberg fought back again with two goals for a 7-7 deadlock after three periods. The teams then exchanged goals in the first 3:06 of the fourth quarter for an 8-8 tie. Stockton took the lead for good as Bologno and Van Benschoten potted counters 46 seconds apart to give the Ospreys a 10-8 edge with six minutes to play.

Muhlenberg pulled within one at 10-9 with 4:44 on the clock but Leonard helped preserve the lead with two saves down the stretch. The second came with just 18 seconds left and then Bologno sealed the 11-9 Stockton victory by scoring with just four ticks remaining.
