Cal Sebor (Freehold/Freehold Twp.) scored with 2.6 seconds left in overtime to propel No. 4 seed Richard Stockton (13-6) to a 7-6 win over No. 5 seed Lebanon Valley (7-8) in the quarterfinals of the ECAC Mid-Atlantic Tournament on Wednesday night. The Ospreys also set a new school record for wins in a season with their 13th triumph of the year. The previous record of 12 victories was set in 2002. Â

The defensive struggle was evident from the beginning as Sebor netted his first goal on an assist from
Drew Wright (Wallingford, PA/Strath Haven) for a 1-0 lead. The Dutchmen rebounded to score twice in a span of 1:10 to take a 2-1 lead after the first period.

The Ospreys began the second period by rattling off four straight goals for a 5-2 lead.
James O'Donnell (Mt. Laurel/Lenape) scored twice while
Max Becker (Oak Ridge/Jefferson) and
Vinny Gencarelli (Rockaway/Morris Hills) also hit the net for Stockton, with Sebor and
Alex Epifano (Marlton/Cherokee) picking up helpers on two of the tallies.

Once again, Lebanon Valley responded toward the end of the stanza with two markers in 28 seconds to pull within 5-4. Gencarelli then scored with one second left in the half with an assist from Sebor to boost the Stockton lead to 6-4 at the break.

The Dutchmen shut down Stockton during the next 30 minutes, holding them without a goal while scoring once in each period to force overtime at 6-6. Stockton goalkeeper
Eric Leonard (Mt. Laurel/Lenape) made eight saves as the Ospreys were outshot 18-12 in the second half.

In the extra stanza, Leonard came up with a point-blank save on Matt Lubawski with 1:58 remaining to keep it knotted and extend the game. Sebor then ended the thriller with a shot from in front of the Dutchmen net for the game-winner with just 2.6 seconds left in the OT period to lift Stockton to the 7-6 triumph.

Sebor finished the contest with two goals and two assists to lead the Ospreys, with O'Donnell and Gencarelli also netting two markers apiece. Leonard, who was outstanding in net, kicked out 14 shots for the win.

Matt Aldridge topped Lebanon Valley with two goals while Malik Pedroso dished two assists. Goalkeeper Mike Moll made 10 saves in taking the loss.

Stockton will take to the road to take on No. 1 seed Frostburg State on Saturday at 12 noon in the ECAC tournament semifinals. Frostburg State is hosting the rest of the tournament.
