Boxscore Galloway, NJ – Richard Stockton (4-1-1) outshot Gwynedd Mercy (0-4) 28-3 for the game and could only muster two goals, but it was enough to outlast the Griffins 2-1 on Wednesday night.
Anthony Colofranson (Woodbury Hts./Gateway) and
Clevon McPherson (Kingston, JAM/Pemberton) tallied the goals for Stockton, both in the first half.

Colofranson got the Ospreys on the board in the first half at the 11:51 mark when he scored his fourth goal of the season on a penalty kick for a 1-0 lead. Less than six minutes later, the Griffins' Rich Mychack tied it on a 25-yard shot, on a pass from Miles Kehs, to make it 1-1.

At 34:53, McPherson's first goal of the season gave the Ospreys the final lead of the night when he potted a volley off a corner kick from
Bobby Spracklin (Eastampton/Rancocas Valley) for the one-goal advantage. Stockton fired off 17 shots to just two for the Griffins in the second stanza, but neither squad could find the net and the final score was set at 2-1.

Chris Giraudin (Pine Bush, NY/Pine Bush) picked up his second win of the season, making two saves in the process. Greg Gengaro took the loss for the Griffins, playing the first half with one save. Ryan Oyola finished up, playing the last 45 minutes and kicking out six Osprey attempts.

Stockton will finish up their four-game home stand on Saturday when they will face FDU-Florham for a 1 pm match at G. Larry James Stadium.
