Mahwah, NJ – Richard Stockton (6-1-2, 0-0-1 NJAC) opened their NJAC schedule with a tough 3-3 tie at Ramapo (5-2-2, 0-0-1 NJAC) on Saturday afternoon. Anthony Colofranson (Woodbury Heights/Gateway) scored two goals and added an assist in the contest. Colofranson extended his goal streak to seven consecutive games.

In the first half, Stockton forged a 2-1 lead. Justin Olaya opened the scoring on an unassisted tally following a scramble in front of the net to give Ramapo a 1-0 edge. Colofranson figured in the next two scores as he blasted a shot from outside the box to knot the game 1-1 at 29:36. Freshman Alex Kourahanis (Sicklerville/Timber Creek) assisted on the ninth marker of the season for Colofranson.

Jared Ruff (Delran/Delran) potted a goal off a rebound six minutes later for the 2-1 Ospreys' lead. Ruff's first goal of the season came on a helper from Colofranson and Stockton led by one into the break.

The Roadrunners regained the lead on two straight goals in the second half. Modou Sowe scored on a scramble in the box to tie the game at 56:32, then Kevin Villanueva gave Ramapo the lead at 3-2 with 8:01 remaining. Just 2:22 later, Colofranson struck again, nailing his 10th marker of the season. An assist from Mike DeFeo (Sicklerville/Timber Creek) helped knot the game at 3-3.

Colofranson had a chance to win the game in regulation, but his penalty kick was stopped by Roadrunner goalie Matthew Hernandez with just 10 seconds left. The two teams combined for nine shots in the two overtime periods, with four on net, but to no avail for either squad.

Bobby Varga (Toms River/Toms River East) made four saves for Stockton in net, running his record to 4-2-2 on the season. Hernandez kicked out nine Osprey shots in the stalemate.
