BoxscoreGalloway, NJ – Richard Stockton (3-1-1) capped a dominant weekend with a resounding 4-0 win over John Carroll (OH) (2-2) in the fourth and final game of the two-day Stockton Seashore Classic, a match that was lengthened by a lightning delay at halftime. Anthony Colofranson (Woodbury Hts./Gateway) capitalized on an early opportunity, scoring on a free kick just 34 seconds into the game for his third goal in the last two matches. Just over four minutes later
Mike DeFeo (Sicklerville/Timber Creek) scored off a cross from
Jared Ruff (Delran/Delran) for a quick 2-0 lead.
Bobby Spracklin (Eastampton/Rancocas Valley) whipped in a left-footed free kick with 3:23 remaining in the first half and the Ospreys led 3-0 at the break.

A lightning strike in the area resulted in the stadium being cleared at halftime. When play resumed, Stockton remained in control, outshooting the Blue Streak 6-0 in the second half.
Tim Sost (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) added the exclamation point on the 4-0 win by scoring with an assist by
Alex Kourahanis (Sicklerville/Timber Creek) at 71:01 as the Stockton bench got into the act. The Ospreys posted their fourth shutout in five games on the young season.
