Boxscore

Jersey City, NJ – Stockton University (11-2-4, 2-1-4 NJAC) scored twice in each half and cruised to a 4-0 victory over New Jersey City (4-9-1, 0-6) that was the Ospreys' third straight shutout. The win also pushed Stockton's unbeaten streak to five (4-0-1). Alexa Fama (Linwood/Mainland) sparked the Ospreys with two goals while Adrianna Boucher (Hamilton/Steinert) chipped in with a goal and an assist.

Freshman Abigayle Musto (Wall Twp./Wall) got Stockton on the board by scoring on her own rebound 12:37 into the game. The goal was the third straight tally by the Ospreys that was either scored or assisted by Musto. Nine minutes later, Fama connected for the first of her two goals and Stockton's 2-0 lead lasted through halftime.

Just 6:44 into the second half, Fama struck again for her fifth goal of the season, all in the last five games, with an assist by Boucher to make it 3-0. Boucher later took a pass from Lauren Bowler (Little Silver/Red Bank Regional) and potted her fifth marker of the year at 67:23 to close the scoring with Stockton on top 4-0. Boucher now has a three-game point streak (2 g, 3 a, 7 p).

Stockton goalkeeper Nicole Pallante (Brick/Brick Twp.) needed just two saves to post her 10th shutout of the season as the Ospreys outshot NJCU 22-9. Pallante has not allowed a goal in her last 272 minutes played. Cassie Lubonski finished with 10 saves for New Jersey City.

Stockton will continue its four-game road trip with a non-league match at Franklin & Marshall on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
