BoxscoreMahwah, NJ – Stockton University (3-12, 0-5 NJAC) yielded two goals in the second half and suffered a 2-1 setback in an NJAC game at Ramapo (2-14, 1-5). The defeat was the third straight in which the Ospreys have been close to victory but come up just one goal short.
Leah Davies (Ocean City/Ocean City) scored Stockton's lone marker in the game.
Davies connected for her third goal of the season with an assist by
Laura Olbrich (Pittsgrove/A.P. Schalick) to give Stockton the early 1-0 lead just 5:51 into the game. The Ospreys fired 10 shots in the first half, including nine on goal, and held the one-goal edge at halftime.
The second half saw Ramapo go on the offensive with 10 shots. Gianna Mouskourie tied the game for the Roadrunners 12:06 into the period. The 1-1 deadlock remained until Nicole Healy scored on a penalty corner with just 3:03 left to deal Stockton the 2-1 defeat.

Victoria Caiazzo (Manahawkin/Southern Regional) chipped in with a defensive save. The Ospreys outshot Ramapo 16-13, led by Davies with four shots, but they had difficulty solving Roadrunners' goalie Emily Wisneski who finished with 12 saves.
Stockton will conclude a string of five straight road games on Tuesday when the Ospreys visit Muhlenberg for a matchup at 7:30 p.m.
