BoxscoreGalloway, NJ – Stockton University (1-0) opened its second season of intercollegiate play with an 18-6 victory over Delaware Valley (0-1), which made its debut as a college program. Stockton tallied 12 goals on 17 shots during the first half and never was threatened.
Nicole Miller (Southampton/Seneca) led the Ospreys with five goals and two assists, followed by
Colleen Knight (Pennsauken/Camden Catholic) with four goals.

Skyler Mahoney-Kendra (Tinton Falls/St. John Vianney) tallied her first goal in a Stockton uniform 29 seconds into the game for a 1-0 lead. A short time later, Delaware Valley scored its first goal ever for their program to make it 1-1. Freshman
Brianna Rolke (Berlin/Eastern) netted her first career goal one minute later for a 2-1 Stockton lead before two goals by Knight and one apiece from Miller and Rolke made it 6-1.

After another Aggies tally, Knight and Miller scored for an 8-2 Osprey advantage. The Aggies got within 8-3 before Stockton tossed in the last four markers of the first half to make it 12-3 in the Ospreys' favor at the break.

The second half started much like the first as Kramer scored 18 seconds in for a 13-3 lead. Just under two minutes later,
Monica Barysh (Manalapan/Manalapan) hit the net for a 14-3 advantage before Knight tallied to make it 15-3. Delaware Valley potted three of the next four goals before two markers from Miller capped the 18-6 Stockton victory.

Rolke had an outstanding debut with three scores while Mahoney-Kendra added two markers to the total. Kramer dished four assists to go with two goals. Knight and freshman
Heather Malosky (Branchburg/Immaculata) scooped three ground balls each, with Malosky also causing two turnovers.
Lauren Ivancich (Beach Haven/Southern Regional) topped the squad with seven draw controls.

Corinne Militana had four goals for the Aggies, with Taylor Teliszewski scoring the other two goals.

Mary Stornes (Galloway/Absegami) started for Stockton, making two saves and earning the win.
Liz Tully (Ocean City/Ocean City) played the last 20:42, also making two saves for the Ospreys. Sarah Fenwick kicked out five shots for Delaware valley in the loss.

Stockton will have a week off until next Saturday March 7 when the will play the second of their three-game home stand. Rosemont College will visit Galloway for an 11 am start.Â
