BoxscoreGalloway, NJ –Richard Stockton (17-4, 13-1 NJAC) used a hot shooting second half to go along with balanced scoring and cruised to a 76-59 win over Rutgers-Camden (8-13, 4-10 NJAC) for their fifth straight win. In addition to the victory, senior guard
Alex Nardoza (Fords/Woodbridge) scored her 1,000th career point at Stockton. The Ospreys dished 16 assists on their 28 baskets for the night and sent the Scarlet Raptors to their 26th consecutive loss to Stockton dating back to the 2001-02 season.

The Scarlet Raptors jumped out to a 13-6 lead before the Ospreys got untracked in the first half. Stockton ran off on a 12-0 spurt to take the lead at 18-13.
Sara Farrell (Marlton/Cherokee) led the charge with five points during the run and the Ospreys later had a 28-22 halftime margin. The Stockton defense keyed the advantage as they held the Scarlet Raptors to just 27.3 % (9-33) shooting during the first stanza.

For the second straight game, Stockton was blistering from the field during the second half and put the game away. The Ospreys shot 64.3% (18-28) including 4-7 (57.1%) from behind the arc in the period. Nardoza entered the game with 991 points and hit 1,000 on the number with a free throw three minutes into the second frame, becoming the 13th player to reach the milestone in a Stockton uniform.

Leading by nine, Stockton put the game away with a 16-3 run during which they went 7-8 from the field. A pair of freshman led the way as
Lea Mendolla (Nutley/Mount St. Dominic) tossed in five points and
Sasha Williams (Cherry Hill/Cherry Hill West) added four. The Ospreys led 69-47 with four minutes left and cruised to their fifth consecutive victory, 76-59.

Four Ospreys hit double figures in scoring, led by Williams who tied her career high with 16 markers, 12 in the second half. Williams also led all players with a game highs of 12 rebounds and five blocked shots. Nardoza added 14 points while Farrell tallied 13 points. Mendolla rounded out the quartet with 12 points on the night.
Lauren Bowler (Little Silver/Red Bank Regional) dished a career-high six assists and grabbed three steals, as did Nardoza.

Kamari Talley scored a game-high 18 points for Rutgers-Camden, with Tanjae Lewis adding 13 markers. Michelle Obasi and Cara Racobaldo tallied 10 points each, with Racobaldo dishing four assists and pilfering a game high four steals.

Stockton's next game will be Saturday afternoon when they will travel to Ramapo. Game time is scheduled for 1 pm.Â
