BoxscoreGalloway, NJ – Stockton University (5-1) saw their five-game winning streak come to a halt with an 11-5 defeat to the Stevens Ducks (3-1) on Thursday night.
Nicole Miller (Southampton/Seneca) and
Zoey Kramer (Eatontown/Red Bank Catholic) totaled two points each for the Ospreys in the loss.

The first half was all Ducks as they started the scoring just 36 seconds into the contest and rolled from there. Erika Wilcox scored three goals and dished two assists during the 7-0 onslaught before halftime.

Stevens made it 9-0 with two more tallies to start the second half before Stockton exploded for four markers in a span of 2:56.
Kim Raichelson (Brick/Brick Memorial), Kramer twice and
Skyler Mahoney-Kendra (Tinton Falls/St. John Vianney) all hit the net to make it 9-4. Miller and
Sarah Brenner (Jackson/Jackson Memorial) picked up assists on two of the goals.

That was as close as the Ospreys would come as Stevens sandwiched two more scores around another marker by Miller to set the final score at 11-5.

Kramer scored twice with Miller adding a goal and assist to lead Stockton. Brenner picked up her first assist of the season for the Ospreys. Wilcox led all players with five goals and three assists for eight points. Kathleen Kalbian and Cami Santor both tallied twice as well for Stevens.

Mary Stornes (Galloway/Absegami) kicked out six shots in suffering her first loss of the season for the Ospreys. Winning goalkeeper Stephanie Schnelzer made four saves for Stevens.
