BoxscoreLanghorne, PA – Stockton University (9-5) notched its first shutout of the season as four pitchers combined to blank Cairn University (4-12) 7-0 in a non-conference road game. Lefty
Aidan Ryan (Cedar Run/Msgr. Donovan) improved to 3-0 on the season with four scoreless relief innings during which he struck out five.

Offensively, the Ospreys rapped out 11 hits, led by
George Eisenhart (Harrison Twp./Clearview) who went 4-4 with a double and two RBI.
Stephen Struble (Hammonton/Hammonton) contributed two hits, including a double, two RBI and a run scored while
Erik Danser (Marlton/Cherokee) extended his hitting streak to 10 games with a seventh-inning single.

Stockton scored the only run that it needed in the top of the first on an RBI single by Struble. The Ospreys broke the game open with four runs on four hits in the third inning for a 5-0 lead. The hits were RBI doubles by Struble and
Mark Jankowski (Sewell/Washington Twp.) plus RBI singles by Eisenhart and
Matt Mangarella (Milltown/Spotswood).

Jankowski was hit by a pitch in the seventh inning and later scored on an error to make it 6-0. Stockton tacked on one more run in the eighth frame as Eisenhart earned his second RBI of the game on a sacrifice fly to end the scoring in the 7-0 triumph.

Ryan was joined in the combined shutout by starter
Vince Maconi (Toms River/TR East) and
Dylan Warburton (Sewell/Washington Twp.) who tossed two innings apiece plus
Tim Patterson (Bellmawr/Gloucester Catholic) who pitched a scoreless ninth stanza to close out the game.
