Galloway, NJ – Stockton University (8-4, 1-2 Skyline) surrendered two goals in the last four minutes and fell to Maritime (NY) (6-5, 2-1) 11-10 in a conference game that featured six lead changes. Guy Loggi (Somers Point/Mainland) scored a team-high three goals for the Ospreys. Mike Caposella (Wayne/DePaul Catholic) tallied two goals and two assists while Nick Bologno (Glen Gardner/North Hunterdon) dished a game-high four assists.
 
Stockton fell behind 4-1 before rallying into a 4-4 tie on two straight goals by Vincent Manasia (Clark/Arthur L. Johnson) followed by one from Caposella with just nine seconds left in the first half. After Maritime opened the second-half scoring, the Ospreys took their first lead of the game at 6-5 on tallies by Loggi and Joseph DiBabbo (Sewell/Clearview) 19 seconds apart.
 
The lead was short-lived as the Privateers struck back 51 seconds later and then 30 seconds after that to pull ahead 7-6. Stockton regained the lead at 8-7 as Loggi and Alex Epifano (Marlton/Cherokee) netted the game's next two markers but Maritime answered with 59 seconds left in the third quarter for an 8-8 tie after three periods.
 
After the Privateers scored a man-up goal nine seconds into the fourth quarter, the Ospreys rallied on tallies by DiBabbo and Caposella in a 49-second span to take a 10-9 edge with 9:43 remaining. Maritime tied it with another man-up goal at the 3:33 mark, took the lead with 2:30 to play and held off the Ospreys, who took four shots in the last 1:53 but could not connect and fell 11-10.
 
Starting goalkeeper Eric Leonard (Mt. Laurel/Lenape) recorded five saves in the first half and then gave way to Matthew Deiner (Millstone/Christian Brothers Academy) who made seven stops in the second half.
 
Stockton continues a three-game road trip with a Skyline Conference game at Kean on Wednesday at 7 pm.
