The Ospreys dominated much of the play during the first half as they pressured the Wolverines and kept the ball in their half of the field. McElwee inserted a penalty corner to
Grace Kinney (Brigantine/GCIT) at the top of the circle and Kinney fired the ball back to McElwee at the left corner of the cage for the tip-in. McElwee's first goal in three seasons in an Osprey uniform came at 9:36 made it 1-0 for Stockton.
Stockton made the lead hold up as they continued to press the attack. Wolverines' goalkeeper Kayla Fromal kept Wesley in the contest with some solid work to keep the Ospreys from stretching the advantage. Fromal made six saves in the second half but the Stockton defense preserved the shutout for the 1-0 win.

Emily Sorochynskyj (Boonton/Boonton) made just one save in registering her first career win and first college shutout. Fromal kicked out eight shots while teammate Emily Wagner was credited with a defensive save as well. Stockton out shot Wesley by a 20-5 margin and had a 13-2 advantage on corners.
Stockton will play their next match at home when Gwynedd Mercy visits Galloway on Saturday. Game time is scheduled for 1 pm.
