BoxscoreMahwah, NJ –Stockton University (6-1-1, 0-0-1 NJAC) played unbeaten Ramapo (5-0-1, 0-0-1) to a 1-1 tie in the NJAC opener for both teams today. The Ospreys had their shutout streak snapped at 636 minutes but extended their unbeaten streak to seven (6-0-1) with the draw. Freshman

Nicole Pallante (Brick/Brick Twp.), also a freshman, made five saves in the match.
After 52 scoreless minutes, Musto scored from the center of the box after a cross from the left side by
Adrianna Boucher (Hamilton/Steinert), who earned the assist. Musto's second goal of the season gave the Ospreys a 1-0 lead. The advantage lasted 15 minutes until Michaela Knoblock scored on a rebound at 67:51 for a 1-1 tie. The goal was the first allowed by Pallante in 592 minutes. Ramapo outshot the Ospreys 9-8 in regulation and the match went to overtime.
The teams combined for just four shots, two apiece, in the two overtime periods. Musto and
Alexa Fama (Linwood/Mainland) each registered one shot for the Ospreys. Pallante and Ramapo goalie Jessica Cusick made one save apiece in the 20 minutes of OT and the contest ended in a 1-1 tie.
Stockton will return home to host Montclair State in an NJAC game on Wednesday at 7 pm.
